Rare Georgian Mahogany Bachelors Draw Leaf Table
This is an unusual piece, the square table has a leathered top as have the leaves, the leather seems to be original and in good Condition. In addition to being used a 6 seat dining table this one can also double up as a desk or card table . It has a long drawer at one end and the leaves are pulled out by means of small brass knobs, the legs are in Mahogany and are tapered and reeded
The table is in very good sound condition, there are no breaks, splits or loose joints, obviously the surface has had a little wear but it has been well looked after and there are no serious faults
This type of table has always been popular because if its versatility, it will seat 6 when extended
The table is 30” high and 23” under knee height
Closed the table is 31.5” square
Extended it is 31.5” x 60” long
