Such a beautiful and highly collectible 1950s Kigu brand powder compact!

This gilded brass compact is engraved with the landmasses and seas on a lustrous golden satin background.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The inner lid is stamped with the Kigu Ltd. registered trademark.

The original felt pouch, puff and sifter are present.

The compact is highly reflective.

Image four gives a good impression of the finish without any reflections.

All catches and hinges work perfectly.

The makers lacquered this compact and so the gilded brass will not tarnish or require cleaning.

Measures 7.2 cm diameter. Weighs 79.7 grams.

This compact is ideal for use with loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or cherished collectible.
