An extremely rare late Elizabethan period carved Oak serving table dating from c 1600. The planked top above a rope twist carved frieze drawer with floral carved central panel and corners resting on carved bulbous supports with base planked tray. In excellent original condition, fine colour with fading and bleaching on the top boards and slight bow to front top board ( see photo). All underside surfaces in dry undisturbed condition, primary hand cut timber throughout and no sign of any restoration and with the expected wear throughout. The drawer handles may well be original, there being no indication of other handles. Payments can be made via bank transfer. We also accept all major credit cards.
