Very Rare Mendlesham Chair c1800 - Burr Elm Seat.

A stunning piece , a real gem of a chair with a fantastic rich colour and amazing burr grain to the seat.


This unique style of windsor chair which is believed to have orinated in the Suffolk village of Mendlesham and made in the surrounding villages is scarce and sought after.
Standard forms of this chair are hard to find and this chair is very rare having a burr elm seat.Possibly unique.
