A very rare example with a unique provenance. The arched top carved Tempus Fugit, with finials over an arched dial with strike/silent Westminster/Whittington chime subsidiary dials. The foliate central dial with a subsidiary second dial within a silver chapter ring, with applied Arabic numerals. The 8-day movement striking on 8 rods giving a lovely mellow chime, with the hours striking on a massive coiled gong. The case is most decorative and unique and possibly a one off design.
