Rare pair of Georgian Scottish tea caddies. C.1810


RARE PAIR of Georgian Scottish tea caddies, rectangular shape with dome tops. They look like mahogany veneered but it is not mahogany, I think they might be Gonzales Alves. Whatever it is they are veneered on mahogany with oak bottoms. Satinwood banding to the tops and the fronts, the escution is also satinwood.
Original locks.
Nice colour with waxed finish.
Just nice to get a pair.
