This is a very interesting watch
A family piece which the lady of the house said belonged to her Great Aunty "Annie Rumbold" presented to her while in service in London Mid Victorian times
Being December could have been Christmas gift

Silver fob watch style by Sir John Bennett great maker with English lever movement , still in excellent condition , working fine with a good strong tick and keeping good time
Excellent white dial no chips or cracks , blue steel style hands , top loop all original , floral engraving to back of the case centre, plain cartouche
Sir John Bennett maker to the Admiralty
Comes with a lovely old watch key
Case is original as far as we know London Jewellers, Collier Sloane Sq Knightsbridge London who would have retailed Sir John Bennett Watches during this Victorian period , still in very good age condition

Silver case not hallmarked dated by presentation date 1874, hinges prefect, strong top silver loop with original fixings , watch glass all clear
Watch size 38.9mm diameter
Rare watch don’t see many Sir John Bennett small pocket watches like this 150 years old
and in excellent and nice to have the watch history
