Superb! - This is a wonderful book piece that will delight collectors the world over, featured on page 129 of Roselyn Gerson's Vintage & Vogue Gallery of Compacts book - it is in absolutely beautiful condition - made by Wadsworth Watch Case Company (often marketed as Henriette), it is in the form of a Station Master's pocket watch, the watch opens by pressing the button to the top - the time is set at 17 minutes past 8 - to the rear is a fine etched picture of a steam train - measuring c.2.3/4" inch dia (6.8cm) it is a superb vintage piece - highly collectable and in the best of vintage condition - all clasps and hinges are sound, opening to reveal a nice clean interior with a fitted sifter and original signed puff - the mirror is fitted to the top and in good condition - pre-loved, butin excellent condition, this little beauty will certainly not disappoint!
