An original Alphabet/ABC porringer in the blue colourway, designed by Eric Ravilious for Wedgwood in 1937. This is the rarer large size bowl, 2.5cm wider than the standard version and 1cm higher. It is in superb condition with no chips, cracks,crazing or smudges to the lettering. White marks are from the camera! A perfect example.
Just under 7 inches (17.5cm) dia. 2.25 inches high (5.5cm).
