Red/Black Mid Century Handmade Shag Pile Wool Rug
A vintage handmade 1950s/60s mid century shag pile wool rug or throw, in good used condition. The background colour is black with a retro geometric pattern in muted shades of red and orange.
This knotted vintage rug has a 1" pile. Hand sewn on the back is a label stating that the rugs was made with materials from Jackson's Rug-Craft Centre in Yorkshire, England. As it doesn't have a backing it's very soft and could also be used as a throw or blanket. Measuring 90cm by 167cm, it makes a fantastic accent rug to bring a dash of mid century colour and style to your room.
The rug has no marks, holes or thin patches, although it is in used condition. It smells clean and fresh and has been washed on a cool, wool cycle.
