This is an exceptional Regency sarcophagus-shaped brass inlaid rosewood box with a relined interior making it perfect as a antique jewellery box for the dressing table. The exterior is in very good original condition with intricate patterned brass inlay to the top and front, ring-shaped rosewood side handles and turned bun feet. The lid opens to reveal a gathered velvet lining to the lid and a paper-lined interior including a lift out tray.

Condition: Excellent original condition without repairs. The interior has been relined in recent times and is in very clean condition. It currently lacks a key.
