Regency Carved Mahogany Folding Card Tea Table

Antique quality Regency or William IV (C1825 to 1835) carved mahogany folding card tea console table.
This is a lovely table of exceptional quality.
The organically carved base is very rare...we have not seen another like it.
Solid, with no loose joints.
No woodworm.
Period brass castors (some wear as one would expect).
The top has a wonderful patina, with just a few fine veneer cracks (as one might expect, forming part of that patina), but nothing bad and all is stable and good.
Lovely age charm and character, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 91.5cmW x 91.5cmD (46cm closed) x 74cmH (76cmH when closed).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. The baize is not new, having some wear and fading in the centre (talk to us if you would like the baize replaced....we could do this for £60 in a colour of your choice). There are a few fine veneer cracks (as one might expect) on the top, but nothing bad and all is stable.
Stock No. 3925.
