Early 19th century English Regency centre stool or footstool, fully restored and re upholstered with a striking peacock fabric and finished with antiqued brass studs to the corners.
Great decor piece, but also super practical for putting your feet up and if you place a suitable antique tray top in the centre, there's room to hold your glass of wine etc.
Very solid frame so if you also need to use this for occasional extra seating, it is more than happy to hold two adults.

19” or 48cm high
36” or 91.5cm wide
24” or 61cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
