An antique Regency open armchair in mahogany dating from circa 1830. With flame figured mahogany top rail and pirecded centre rail, it stands on out-swept sabre legs to the front and back. The stuff-over seat has been recently reuholstered - although it does have some marks and small tear to it. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy. Warm patina to the mahogany. Wear and marks commensurate with age. The stuff-over seat has been recently reuholstered - although it does have some marks and small tear to it so would benefit recovering. An old repair to the veneer on the top rail and a repair to the centre rail.
