Spectacular early 19th.c. mahogany linen press or wardrobe c.1820. Architectural pediment and flared cornice over two doors with exceptionally well figured flame mahogany panels and brass centre moulding. Symmetrically arranged veneers across the front and flanked on each side with faux columns with original brass mounts top and bottom. On a plinth base with tapering block feet. Fitted inside with six sliding shelves for bed linen, clothes etc. Solid mahogany sides, drawer linings and back boards. Excellent condition, restored and polished in our workshops. Key supplied. Shelves could be easily removed and a rail added for use as a hanging wardrobe.
