Regency Period Inlaid Rosewood Chiffonier Cabinet
A wonderful quality and very elegant, Regency period, rosewood chiffonier profusely inlaid on the front with intricate motifs in satinwood. This has a two tier upstand with the graduated shelves supported by carved, shaped S scrolls to the front and brass rods behind. The base has a pair of inlaid glazed doors standing on a similarly inlaid plinth. This cabinet has all its original patina and polished surface and it is in fine condition throughout. Sizes 41”(104cms) wide, 14 ½ “(36cms) deep, 59 ½ “(151cms) high. Date circa 1815.
I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
