Antique scroll arm carved show wood and mahogany sofa.

Dates from C1825-1835 (Regency / William IV periods).

Rare quality piece... far better than most....lovely slender design.

Does not include the red cushions.

Very heavy and strong, with no loose joints.

Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location. Magnificent X-frame legs.

The sofa has recently been reupholstered in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour. New feather seat cushion.

Overall maximum dimensions

185cmW x 62cmD x 90cmH (44cmH seat when sat on, with cushion).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. A few historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. May have had castors originally.
