Regency Snap Top Table


Circa 1815, Regency circular, snap top, hardwood table. The top has cross banding and blue leather which is embossed and gilded with various classical designs. The main body is in mahogany, with a brass arm and clasp behind the top and it is on a block with a turned, ring turned base. Standing on a concave platform base with 3 cabriole legs with double string inlay and finishing on a cast brass hairy paw foot and brass castors.
