Antique early 20th Century ribbon top shaped wall mirror or overmantle.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character.

An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.

The bevel edge mirrored glass has light/medium oxidation/foxing/defects (not too much, just a patch in the lower left hand side) and appears original.

Overall maximum dimensions 113cmW x 89cmH.

Glass area 103cmW x 63cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Aged gilt paint finish on wood and gesso, which has been touched up here and there (possibly repainted, but could be original, if so it was 50 or more years ago). There is some historic cracking on the gesso as you would expect to see and some gesso decoration losses.
