Rosewood Cave a Liqueur

Rosewood Cave a Liqueur
A stunning Rosewood Cave a Liqueur, with French boulle.
This magnificent Cave a Liqueur is clad in a rich Rosewood veneer, with French Boulle detail on its front panel and on top. The pattern is framed by a decorative brass inlay around its square, box like structure, which sits over 4 rounded feet.
As the key is turned, and the lid is lifted up and over, a beautifully presented array of small hand-etched glasses and decanters sit within a wooden cradle, around a gilt lifting handle. All glasses are intact with no cracks, splitting or signs of wear. All 4 decanters have their etched stoppers in tact too.
A fabulous piece and welcome addition for a suitable dining area or study.
Period: Circa 1840
Measurements when closed: W31.5cm x D24cm x H25.5cm
Measurements when open: W52cm x D28cm x H45cm
