An excellent quality Victorian fitted antique jewellery box. This box is made in rosewood and has all its original colour and polished surface. The edges of the front and top are highlighted with brass. The top has a working lock and lifts to reveal a fitted tray which can then be removed to show a further storage space below. This box is in excellent condition throughout. The interior tray has been replaced. Szes: 11”(28cms) wide, 6 ½ “(16cms) deep, 4 ½ “(12cms) high. Date circa 1860. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
