Rosewood Mother of Pearl Inlaid Tea Caddy
A middle of the 19th century Rosewood sarcophagus shaped tea caddy.
The caddy has mother of pearl inlaid decoration, a hinged lid and stands on flat bun feet.
The interior has two tea compartments with lift off lids and a glass sugar/mixing bowl in the centre.
The glass bowl has a ribbed top edge and a ground pontil mark underneath.
The caddy is in good condition, the interior tea compartments have the remains of its original foil lining. (Circa 1850)
