This lovely model of 'Chestnut Mare and Foal' by Royal Doulton was an early design by William Chance. Model No. 1020 HN2522 it was in production from 1938-1960. This example is dated for 1947. It is 16.5cm in height. It has some tiny 'pin holes' to the surface of the glaze on the mares back, which do not detract from its overall appearance. It is not marked as a second but the price reflects these imperfections. Its condition is otherwise excellent with no signs of damage or restoration. Payment - We are happy to accept payment by Bank Transfer/International Transfer.
