This elderly gentleman is an early example of Royal Doulton Flambé. Model No.12 HN No.147C Style 1. The model was issued from 1912-1946. The back stamp dates this piece between 1912-1922. The impressed marks to the base are worn. There are no chips, cracks or signs of restoration but he has small scratches on his back and wear to the glaze on his ears.(see photos)Overall his condition is very good. He is 12cm high.
