This is an exquisite Vintage Royal Worcester Vase in a Blackberries design, which is in very good condition with just a little age-related wear, but no chips, cracks or restoration. It is hand painted and signed by Kitty Blake, bears the date mark for 1938 to the base and measures approximately 10cm high.

Kitty Blake worked from 1905 – 1953 at Royal Worcester. She was a driving force at the factory during her long period of work there.

Previously she had worked at Hadley and Sons but were bought out by Royal Worcester in 1905, so Kitty ended up working for Royal Worcester. However, it was at James Hadley’s that she developed her characteristic bunches of blackberries style.

Her hand painted and signed pieces are highly desired for collectors, as well as being realistic and very pretty.
