We are very pleased to be able to offer this lovely Royal Worcester Ladies vanity tray hand painted by E M Fildes.
The tray is of an oblong form and is decorated in the blush palate with vibrant still life of blooming roses amongst leaves and rose buds. The tray is signed by E M Fildes, a Royal Worcester artist between WW1 and WW2 who specialised in lovely designs of roses on a blush ivory background. The base carries the Royal Worcester marks for 1919.
The tray is just over 10 inches (approximately 26 cm) long and is in a good condition, with no chips cracks or repairs. However the surface of the tray does carry some surface scratches associated just short of a hundred years of use as a ladies dressing table tray.
