Rugby Match prints William Woollen Sport %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Ltd edition pencil signed and numbered print of William Barns Woollen's painting titled ``The Rugby Match` between Lancashire & Yorkshire rugby teams.
this match was played 1893/94 Country Championship at Bradford.
This large pencil signed print is numberd 282 out of the edition of 500, it is a later modern colured resrike print of the painting by William Barns Woollen,which was painted in 1895.
The original painting was lost for many years but was found again for sale in a shop in the 1950s and it now now hangs in the Presidents suite of Twickenham Stadium.
The print is in good condition and is mounted under glass and is framed.
