Rare Antique Papier Mache Bulldog Stool.
Modelled as an English Bulldog with great expression. The stool is topped with leatherette & is finished with brass studs. The body of the Bulldog is Papier Mache & the base is wooden with 3 metal stud feet.
Looking at the stool there is a deep crease to the left hand side & a smaller one to the right. On the right hand side there are also 2 small holes as can be seen in photo. These in no way detract from the stool, infact gives it more character.
This is a rare survivor.
Height 11.50", diameter at base 9"
