We have for sale a very attractive late Edwardian 3 pint copper hot water can by the excellent metalware manufacturer, Joseph Sankey and Sons of Wolverhampton.

This very striking decorative copper hot water can is in the form of a watering can decorated in the Lizard skin finish and carries the Joseph Sankey and Sons mark to the base. Hot water cans of this form were illustrated in the Joseph Sankey and Sons catalogue of 1910.

The hot water can is 8 inches (20.3cm) high and approximately10 inches (25cm) long from spout to handle. The jug is in a good antique condition, but does carry some indentation particularly around the junction of the spout with the body and towards the back towards the base beneath the handle.
