Sankey and Sons Art Nouveau 4 Pint Jug c1910
We have for sale a very attractive art nouveau design large copper 4 pint water jug by the excellent Joseph Sankey and Sons of Wolverhampton.
This very striking decorative copper jug is of a truncated form and decorated in repouse in the Honeysucckle pattern and marked with the Joseph Sankey mark to the base along with the number 4. This jug is illustrated in the Joseph Sankey and Sons catalogue of 1910.
The jug is 11 inches (28cm) high and 8 inches (20.3cm) wide from spout to handle. The jug is in a very good antique condition with the surface wear one would expect form a copper jug of this period.
