Scottish Tartanware Card Case
This rare item is a Scottish Tartanware Card Case in the McPherson plaid. Circa 1880. The case is precisely crafted and boasts a well-varnished, glassy surface. It is signed McPherson at the top, with one side showing a lovely loch scene and the other side just tartan. The lid swivels up to allow access to the inner case.
Tartanware pieces have become sophisticated items to acquire, so this superior piece would make a superb addition to any antique collection. The case is in excellent condition with no damage or paper loss.
