Tudor Percept of Sasine dated 1st February 1543, in the reign of Mary Queen of Scots.
George Durie Commendator of Dunermline Monastery to Thomas Edmonston of land of Edmonston. Written in fine 16th century Scottish Secretarial hand and signed by the Commandator Georgius de Dunfermlyng,(George Durie) plus 21 members of the Chapter.
George Durie, Archdeacon of St. Andrews and Commendator of Dunfermline, was Keeper of the Privy Seal of Scotland and Laird of Craigluscan, as well as being an important Politician. Due to personal reasons 'Wayside Mews and Collectables' will be unable to fulfil any orders for the immediate future, this will include the period up to St Valentines Day 2023.
