A fabulous and unusual serving dish, I would guess dating to the mid 20th century, I couldn't find any reference to a similar piece.

Made from a combined top-flight winning combination the silver plated frame is signed by the luxury retailer, Asprey & Company of New Bond Street, London (with the silversmith's initials A & Co).

The removable ceramic liner is marked by the top-notch Royal Worcester, marked "Fireproof Porcelain" and Made In England.

A smart and elegant table-top dish in excellent condition. The dish measures 11 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 1 3/4" tall the Asprey holder spanning 15 1/2" handle to handle x 7 1/4" across the lid.
