A set of 4 elegant antique Victorian balloon back chairs in mahogany dating from circa 1870. With dipped top rails and shaped acanthus leaf carved centre rails, stuffover seats and turned legs. They have been recently reupholstered. A very decorative set of antique chairs.

Good condition. The frames are fairly solid and sturdy (some slight movement to a few joints here and there). Top of centre rail has split but is solid on two of the chairs. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Recently reupholstered.
