A handsome set of six antique late Regency / early Victorian mahogany dining chairs dating from circa 1830. A very solid and sturdy set of chairs, the scroll back uprights enclosing a panelled top rail over a horizontal splat, drop in seat in red chenille, on ring and baluster turned tapering front legs and sabre back legs. A lovely rich colour with a warm patina to the mahogany. These chairs have been recently professionally restored and polished.

Good condition, solid and sturdy. Recently recovered, upholstery is sound. A couple of old mends to two of the chairs (solid). These chairs have been recently professionally restored and polished.
