Fine set of six late Victorian Coalport oyster plates with 5 oyster wells and moulded seashell and seaweed decoration. The shaped rims are painted in a rich mazarine blue frame with gilded scalloped borders with feathered detail. Marked to the back with the Coalport mark for c.1895 and additionally with retailer mark with Maple & Co. Ltd.

They measure 22.5cm (8 3/4") wide and 2cm (7/8") high. Condition is excellent with no damage or repairs and minimal surface wear they have clearly been very little used. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
