DESCRIPTION:
This is beautiful set of Polish Beech Bentwood café chairs dating from approx. C1930 stamped made in Poland. The set comprises of 6 chairs and 2 carvers, one carver has scratched black detailing to the back all original to the one carver. The seat on each chair is still crisp and decorative, a couple of the chair seats are slightly daker we believe due to the difference in storage of them. Each chair has a hoop stretcher giving the chairs enormous strength and practicality. This set of elegant and tactile Bentwood’s would suit many settings both commercial as well as domestic settings.

Carvers Height to top of back 810mm Seats Height 440mm W460mm Depth 460mm
WORKSHOP REPORT:
One carver is slightly different having a line of black scratch details on the back bar. Two of the chairs’ seats are slightly darker we believe to where they have previously been placed. One chair has what looks like a repaired break in the stretcher but is not a break but a split in the wood we believe during manufacture. Please note there is nothing to impair the beauty or use of these chairs if you wish to discuss any of the above or require further photos or a video call do not hesitate to contact us.

This item can be collected in person or by your nominated courier or we can arrange delivery for you, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a quote for one man crew ground floor delivery.
