Antique fine quality set of 10 (8+2) Regency mahogany 19th Century dining chairs.
Exceptional quality, with no loose joints. Lovely brass inlays and desirable sabre front legs.
The chairs without arms are original period examples, however the two carvers are later fine quality copies (very hard to spot), which perfectly match the other 8.
Drop in seats with new upholstery.
Overall maximum dimensions:
Carver 57cmW x 57cmD x 88cmH (46cmH seat when sat on, 70cm high arms).
Chair 51cmW x 53cmD x 89cmH (46cmH seat when sat on)
Very good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is normal with functional antique furniture. Some historic repairs as one would expect with functional antique furniture, but all is good and strong now. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure (in the non-mahogany seat rails under the seats, as is common and in this case do not affect structural integrity).
