Set of 10 Welsh Chapel Smokers Bow Armchairs
A truly rare and wonderful true set of Ten Elm and Beech Smokers Bow armchairs from a South Wales chapel, for which they were commissioned in 1872.
All chairs are identical and in excellent condition. They are all completely original and free from loses, all stand at full original height with no wear to the feet, and no replaced tips and none are cut down as is very often the case.
Displaying superb nutty colour and gently worn patinated surface, small cosmetic marks minor historic chips and imperfections make for a beautiful decorative look.
Comfortable, sturdy and strong they are suitable for daily use and would be perfect for a large home or restaurant. Genuine complete sets of this size are very seldom seen, please feel free to enquire for further images and details.
