Fabulous set of twelve Arts & Crafts oak dining chairs by William Birch for Liberty & Co. These originally had rush seats but now have been professionally upholstered in green leather and are much more comfortable and look just stunning with copper studs highlighting the corners.
Offered in excellent condition having been taken apart snd re glued, stripped and re finished to a lovely honey oak.
Height 100cms, Width at front of seat 45cms. Depth 44cms.
Seat height 49cms.
Please note that eight and a perfect march and four another perfect match, The only difference is the thickness at the top of the caps at top and dowels in the stretchers. Please see third image where three chairs are lined up together with the middle one very slightly different. This really does not show but is mentioned for accuracy.
One chair has a professional mend to back leg as shown in last image. PLEASE NOTE, RED HOUSE ANTIQUES HAS NOW RETIRED.
