Set of 4 Art Deco Dining Chairs J &J. Kohn 1930s
Four Art Deco bentwood armchairs chairs in birch by Mundus and J&J Kohn Made in Czechoslovakia Circa 1930.
A set of 4 Mundus and J & J Kohn bentwood Art Deco armchairs manufactured in Czechoslovakia circa 1930. They are very similar in design to The thonet B-47 chair.
Made from solid bent birch with plywood chair backs veneered in masur birch.
In very good original condition , the chair frames are solid , the original finish shows signs of age through scuffs, dings, and fading in areas, the later leather upholstery is also in good condition but does have minor defects. We have cleaned and waxed them so they are ready for use.
Original Mundus and J&J kohn Labels on two of the chairs one chair stamped made in Czechoslovakia.
Width 22 inch (56cm) Depth 19 inch (48cm). Height. 33.5 inch. (85cm).
