An attractive set of 8 (6+2) late 19th early 20th. century Hepplewhite design mahogany dining chairs. The chairs having typical shield shaped backs with very good pierced centre splats decorated with a carved urns, scrolls, wheat sheaths, beading and patrae. The carvers have shaped arms and supports and all chairs have square tapering and moulded legs, bow fronted fronts and drop in seats which retain the original upholstery which would benefit from re-covering. Dimensions:- Side Chairs Height…37’’/ 94cm. Width…19.5’’/ 49.5cm. Depth…17.5’’/ 44.5cm. Carvers Height…37.5’’/ 95.5cm. Width…22’’/ 56cm. Depth…24’’/ 61cm. Deliver most of U.K. mainland £80.
