Unusual set of four fine French Empire dining chairs in walnut c.1800. Superb shapely backrest with bookleaf walnut veneers and particularly attractive carved Classical style decorative detail. Webbed seats ready for reupholstery. Veneered apron with unusual carved detail to the sides. Curving legs with carved feather motif at the front. Some minor repairs, generally very good colour and condition.
