A very pretty set of French, mid 19th cent, mahogany hanging wall shelves. They have four tiers, each supported by very attractively turned supports. They are in excellent, strong, robust condition. They can be attached to a wall by their original ring supports or by mirror plates which are screwed to the back of the shelves. They could also be used as a floor standing unit as required. Sizes: 39 ½ “(100cms) wide, 8”(20cms) deep, 36”(92cms) high. Date circa 1860. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
