Set Of Six Victorian Carved Rosewood Dining Chairs
A lovely set of six rosewood dining chairs. We date these dining chairs to the late 19th century.
The chairs sit on two cabriole legs at the front and two oblong section backwards splayed legs at the rear.
The backrests feature very attractive carved detail and the seat pads are padded and upholstered in a red foliate tapestry.
The chairs are 33" (84cm) high with a backrest height of 15.5" (40cm), a seat height of 17" (43cm), a width of 18" (46cm) and a depth of 14" (36cm).
This lovely set of dining chairs remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the finish on the top of the backrest on a couple of the chairs.
This remains a very stylish and elegant set of dining chairs. They will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
