Set of Three Huge Antique Chinoiserie Tea Bins.
This set of English, mid 19th century metal and mahogany, floor standing antique tea bins are in very original condition.
They are all in the period black paint finish and decorated in gilt Chinoiserie work, with some surface straches.
The the tops are solid antique mahogany, 2/3rds open on hinges to allow access inside the tins.
Inside are paper labels, 'The Original Berwick Cockles since 1801- Sole makers, WM Cowe & Sons, Confectioners, West Street, 64 & 66 Bridge St, Berwick upon Tweed'.
Large, floor standing antique tea bins are becoming rather scarce and its great to have 3 together.
They would make ideal side or lamp antique tables as the mahogany tops are flat.
