Artist - Axel Herman Haig (1835-1921), a Swedish artist and engraver
Title - The Morning of the Festival
Details - Lovely etching featuring superb architectural detail. Titled and numbered 82 in pencil beneath the scene and signed. The artist's monogram is also visible within the etching with the date 1880. Mounted but not framed.
Condition - Overall in fair condition. The print is discoloured with age and has some grubby marks and stains. The mount is badly stained and damaged with lifting and tearing to the paper. It is also curved / warped. It needs to be re-mounted.
