Silver & Tortoiseshell Letter Opener - 1923
A very handsome letter opener made from sterling silver with the front panel of the handle inset with a tablet of glossy period tortoiseshell.
The ferrule joining the handle to the blade is beautifully decorative and leads to the blade which is hallmarked for Sheffield 1923. The front of the blade is decorated with an engraved decoration.
As useful as beautiful in excellent condition measuring 8 1/4" long.
