Silver and Guilloche Enamel Letter Opener - 1937
Pretty as a picture, this exquisite letter opener is ready to adorn the finest of desk-tops.
Made from English sterling silver the blade is joined to the handle with a highly decorative ferrule the silver handle is decorated both sides with perfect panels of guilloche enamel in a delightful turquoise colour with a bright patina showcasing the engine turned design below. The silver blade is where the full English hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1937.
Excellent condition measuring 7" x 1".
