Silver Beehive Money Box, B'ham 1926

D.J.MASSEY & SON
This is a Sterling Silver Money Box in the form of a Beehive on three ball feet, with an applied bee to the side.
The top is engraved with an inscription.
The base which is held in place with a silver nut is a weighted lead plate.
Hallmarked Birmingham 1926, with makers mark for Deakin and Francis.
Weight of silver without lead plate…………………….62.2 grams.
